Mustafa Ali is making a special trip to WWE Raw.
As announced on the September 18 episode of WWE Raw, Dominik Mysterio will defend the NXT North American Championship against Dragon Lee on the September 25 episode. The news did not sit right with Mustafa Ali, who is set to challenge Mysterio for the title at NXT No Mercy on September 30.
Ali expressed his frustration in a backstage interview on the September 18 episode of WWE NXT. He questioned the logic of having Lee get a title shot after Ali beat him to earn a title shot. Ali stated that neither Dominik Mysterio nor Dragon Lee deserve to hold the gold. He then said that he will deal with both of them on the September 25 episode of WWE Raw.
In a tweet, Ali made it clear that he wants an answer when he appears on the show.

Mustafa Ali remained a free agent following the conclusion of the 2023 WWE Draft. As a result, he is able to appear on any brand. Ali has been featured on NXT since June, but he also competed on the June 9 episode of WWE SmackDown.
Fightful will have live coverage of WWE Raw as it airs on September 25.
