MVP: I Felt That It Was Definitely Time To Leave WWE. The New Management Just Wasn’t For Me And I Ain’t For Him

MVP reiterates that he isn't a fan of the new regime in WWE.

AEW International Title Bout Announced For AEW Full Gear

Earlier this year, MVP made the decision to leave WWE, letting his contract with the company expire. Since then, the former United States Champion has been very open about his choice to leave the promotion, saying that Triple H was against the idea of reuniting The Hurt Business.

Now, the group has been reunited in AEW under a new name, The Hurt Syndicate. MVP and Shelton Benjamin will likely be cornering Bobby Lashley at AEW Full Gear, as he'll make his in-ring debut for the promotion in a match against Swerve Strickland.

While chatting with Drop The Heat for a new interview, MVP simply explained that he left WWE because he wasn't a fan of the new management in the company.

“This time, I didn’t want to re-sign and I let it be known that I wasn’t going to re-sign because the new management in place — anytime, I don’t care where you work, when new management comes in, it’s good for some people and not for other people. New people come in, old people go. So I just felt that it was definitely time to go because the new management just wasn’t for me and I ain’t for him [laughs].
