New AEW Trios Champions have been crowned.
Tony Khan opened AEW Dynamite by announced that the AEW Trios Titles, which were won by Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks at AEW All Out, had been vacated.
Shortly after the announcement, Death Triangle (PAC, Rey Fenix & Penta El Zero Miedo) defeated Best Friends (Chuckie T, Trent, & Orange Cassidy) to win the vacant titles.

It was noted that Dark Order (Hangman Page, John Silver, & Alex Reynolds) were originally considered for the match, but Reynolds was out of action with an injury.
Omega & the Bucks were involved in a backstage altercation following the AEW All Out media scrum with CM Punk & Ace Steel stemming from Punk's comments towards the EVPs where he questioned their leadership abilities and called them out for trying to turn a portion of the audience against him by leaking rumors.
The Elite became the first-ever AEW Trios Champions at AEW All Out by winning the tournament final against The Dark Order (Hangman Page, John Silver, & Alex Reynolds). They defeated RUSH, Dragon Lee & Andrade El Idolo in the quarterfinals before besting Will Ospreay & Aussie Open (Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher) in the semifinals.
