At least one championship in WWE will be decided on the August 30 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown from Berlin.
A vignette during the August 23 episode of WWE SmackDown showed Michin preparing for her WWE Women's Championship match against Nia Jax. Michin said the match would take place in Berlin. It was later revealed that the match would take place on the August 30 episode of WWE SmackDown.
The match will be held under Street Fight rules. This means anything goes when Nia Jax defends her WWE Women's Championship.

While that was the only match made official for next week, several WWE Superstars had next week and Berlin on their minds.
WWE United States Champion LA Knight announced that he would be hosting an open challenge for his championship in Berlin. It was not specified whether this would be on SmackDown or the WWE Bash in Berlin event.
Andrade also issued a challenge to Carmelo Hayes for another match between them. Andrade barged into Carmelo's barber shop in a pre-taped segment on the August 23 episode of SmackDown.
Santos Escobar also told Baron Corbin and Apollo Crews that he would handle their issues next week.
