Nic Nemeth: Partnership Between WWE And TNA Opens The Door For Anyone Showing Up Anywhere

Nic Nemeth says it's a positive for both companies.

On January 16th, WWE officially announced a multi-year partnership with TNA Wrestling and noted that it would enable talent to garner additional exposure across WWE and TNA programming. TNA and WWE built up a working relationship throughout 2024, as Jordynne Grace, Joe Hendry, and other stars crossed over to NXT, while a number of NXT talent competed on TNA programming.

Speaking on Rumor & Innuendo, TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth commented on his current run in TNA and shared his thoughts on the official announcement about the partnership between WWE and TNA.

"I’ve been blown away by the locker room. I’ve been really excited for this upcoming year. Now with this announcement, we’ve kind of been working with WWE off and on for a little while, and now to have this official announcement, I really think it’s positive for both companies because it really opens the door for anyone showing up anywhere else at any time and having it hopefully make sense, but also having that surprise aspect to it. So whether it’s an NXT, Royal Rumble, an iMPACT!, Genesis on Sunday, you don’t know what’s gonna happen, and I think that’s one of the coolest parts of being a wrestling fan," Nemeth said.

Nemeth previously commented on potentially showing up on NXT as part of the TNA crossover. Click here to see what he had to say.
