Nic Nemeth Wins TNA World Title At TNA Slammiversary

Nic Nemeth gains TNA gold.

Nic Nemeth won the TNA World Heavyweight Title at TNA Slammiversary, winning a six-man elimination match that featured himself, defending champion Moose, Frankie Kazarian, Joe Hendry, Steve Maclin, and Josh Alexander.

The bout came down to Nemeth and Kazarian. Nemeth scored the pinfall after the Danger Zone.

Steve Maclin was the first man eliminated after Moose connected with the No Jackhammer Needed Spear.

Moose was the second to be eliminated. Hendry scored the pinfall on him with the Standing Ovation chokeslam. Quickly after Hendry eliminated Moose, Alexander eliminated Hendry with the C4 Spike. Alexander was eliminated by Nemeth with a superkick.

This is the first reign as TNA World Champion for Nemeth. Moose held the title for 190 days and made ten successful title defenses.
