The main event of night two of Wrestle Kingdom 15 has been confirmed.
In a press conference one day after the Power Struggle show, NJPW confirmed that the main event of Wrestle Kingdom 15 will be Tetsuya Naito defending his IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental titles against Jay White. The match will take place on January 5, which is night two of the event.
White: I beat Ibushi 1-2-3, and it is now my right to challenge Naito. I'm taking the night off on January 4 like I should have done last year. Ibushi, you're out of the picture. It's me and Naito night two, January 5 for both belts.

Jay White demands a new contract, in English, for a double title match on January 5, as well as a new briefcase which will arrive thanks to Gedo's efforts.

Power Struggle saw Naito retain both belts in the main event against former double champion EVIL. On that same show, White defeated G1 Climax winner Kota Ibushi to win the briefcase that guaranteed the holder a shot at Ibushi’s titles.
Not much is known about the show’s lineup of matches for either night, but Will Ospreay did challenge Kazuchika Okada to a match at Wrestle Kingdom 15, which Okada accepted.
On the same press conference, Naito states that he wants to have two main event matches at Wrestle Kingdom 15. Naito said he wants to wrestle Ibushi on night one of Wrestle Kingdom 15. NJPW has yet to confirm whether or not Naito vs. Ibushi on night one will happen.
Naito: It'll be tiring to wrestle twice for sure, but I want to show what I can do. So I will wrestle two title matches back to back. On January 4, I want to face... KOTA IBUSHI.

Naito: Yes, Ibushi lost his contract to Jay White at Power Struggle. So he shouldn't really have the right to face me. But he won the G1, and made history by doing it back to back. That hurts to me, and I want to get even for that.

Naito: So I want to beat the G1 winner and then take on Jay White the next night. I'm sorry to White, but I want to face Ibushi more. So that's the match I want for January 4, night one at Wrestle Kingdom. How about it?
