Yota Tsuji retained the IWGP Global Heavyweight Title at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty, defeating Jack Perry.
Tsuji survived a low blow and Olympic Slam, kicking out just before three. Tsuji ate a knee strike before building momentum to catch Perry with the Gene Blaster.
This was Tsuji's first successful title defense. He won the title from David Finlay at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19.
