The NXT Championship will be on the line next Tuesday.
NXT General Manager William Regal announced Karrion Kross will defend the NXT Championship against Johnny Gargano on the July 13 episode of NXT. Samoa Joe will be the special guest referee for the match.
The rivalry between Gargano and Kross heated up last Tuesday when Gargano jumped Kross and thought he had taken him out of the picture. He didn't get the job done though and Kross tried to run him over with a car. Fortunately, Gargano was saved by Joe.
Kross was ready to finish things with Gargano at NXT Great American Bash, but Joe stepped in.
