This past Tuesday on SmackDown Live a Triple-Threat match was contested which featured Becky Lynch, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose competing to secure their spot in the 2018 women's Money In The Bank Ladder match at the 'Money In The Bank' PPV on June 17th. Becky Lynch emerged victorious in the bout thus advancing her into her second Money In The Bank match.

Sonya Deville became worried that she was going to be left out of Money In The Bank because Lana and Billie Kay will be competing for a spot in the match on next week's edition of SmackDown which will leave three spots left to qualify for. Sonya Deville reached out to the former leader of 'Absolution' who is now the current GM of the blue-brand, Paige, and explained to her that although she and Mandy Rose are a duo Mandy was the one who tapped out to Becky Lynch in the Triple-Threat and Sonya demanded that Paige place her in a singles match to qualify for Money In The Bank.

Paige respected Sonya taking the initiative and granted her the match for next week's show as she will go one-on-one with the former two-time SmackDown Live Women's Champion Naomi.

There are now three Money In The Bank qualifiers that will take place during next week's SmackDown Live; Samoa Joe vs. Big Cass, Billie Kay vs. Lana, and now Sonya Deville vs. Naomi.
