The Ruleta De La Muerte Final is Set for TripleMania: Mexico City.
On June 18, 2022, it was revealed that AAA Ruleta de La Muerte Final will take place in TripleMania XXX: Mexico City on October 15, 2022, with the two finalists, revealed. The Ruleta De La Muerte is a Loser-advances knockout tournament, where the person with the most losses would lose their mask.
It was announced that Pentagon Jr would face Villano IV in the final match of the tournament. This came to be after Pentagon Jr. lost his tournament match against Blue Demon Jr after he got hit by an Avalanche Canadian Destroyer onto a table, while Villano IV lost his tournament against Psycho Clown.
This will be Pentagon Jr's 4th Lucha de Apuestas, with his most previous being a Mask vs Hair match against Sami Callihan on Slammiversary XVI, winning the match. Pentagon is set to also face Malaki Black on the 6/22/2022 edition of AEW Dynamite in an AEW All-Atlantic Qualifier Match.

Psycho Clown beats Villano IV in what was an absolutely brutal and violent match. Psycho Clown pins Villano after hitting an air raid crash on Villano IV onto thumbtacks. Villano IV now faces Pentagon Jr. in a Mask vs. Mask match in October.
