Randy Orton paid his fine, and then some.
Following his return at WWE Survivor Series, Randy Orton was a free agent. He appeared on the November 27 episode of WWE Raw, and he came to the December 1 episode of WWE SmackDown. There, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce and SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis both tried to sign Orton to an exclusive contract. In the end, Orton signed with SmackDown and dropped Nick Aldis with an RKO.
On the December 8 episode of WWE SmackDown, Orton approached Aldis and handed him what appeared to be a check. After they discussed Orton's match on the show, Aldis noted that the fine was $50,000, but Orton's check was for $100,000. Orton fired back by saying that was for next time.
