One year ago, WWE and Peacock struck a deal to put WWE Network on the streaming platform. While the transition wasn't the smoothest for all users, it's been a massive success for WWE as streaming numbers have gone up on top of the money, reportedly $1 billion across the five-year deal, WWE landed.
WrestleMania will once again stream on Peacock and Pat McAfee reminded fans of such on his show.
"The amount of absurd shit that's going to happen Saturday and Sunday during WrestleMania, only available on The Cock, Peacock, is absurd," said McAfee
"The Cock? Did you call it The Cock?" questioned guest Randy Orton.
McAfee clarified that he was talking about Peacock.
"Oh, okay. The Cock for short? Is that like a nickname?" asked Orton.
"I don't know if we created it, but it seems like that's what Peacock would be short for," replied McAfee.
Orton is a fan of the nickname saying, "I just think it's pretty cool. I'm gonna start calling it The Cock too."
While Orton might be a fan, WWE is not.
"Well, I will say, in WWE world, I'm not sure it's necessarily as well received as in my world. I have said that before on air and they've gone, 'Peacock is the name of (the platform).' Oh yeah, sorry, sorry, Peacock," said McAfee.
Reminder, Fightful will have live coverage of WreslteMania 38 on Saturday and Sunday beginning at 7 p.m. ET. The show airs live on The Cock.
