Red Velvet is coming to CMLL.
On the September 25th episode of CMLL Informa, CMLL announced that ROH World Women's Champion Red Velvet will compete at the 2024 Women's Grand Prix on October 25th. She will be representing Columbia.
Red Velvet will not be the only AEW talent who will be competing in the Women's Grand Prix, and CMLL also announced that Willow Nightingale will be on Team World,

Sumika Yanagawa (Japan) & Samantha Black (Costa Rica) were also announced, as were Alex Windsor, Viva Van, Persephone, and La Catalina.
Zeuxis and Lluvia were previously announced for Team Mexico. Unagi Sayaka and Tessa Blanchard have been announced for Team World.
In an update to this, the rest of Team Mexico has been unveiled. Reyna Isis, Dark Silueta, Amapola, Hera, Sanely, Princesa Sugehit, Lluvia, Skadi & Kira will complete the rest of Team Mexico, joining the already announced Lluvia & Zeuxis.
