Renee Young got one note from Vince McMahon during Raw.
This week on Raw, Renee Young made history by being the first woman to commentate a whole episode of Raw. Afterwards, WWE cameras caught up and she was asked about the experience. The interviewer asked if she heard much from Vince McMahon over her headset during the show and she said not very much.
"He only spoke to me once. I'm sure he let me get away with a few things tonight. He told me to slow down on a couple spots and that was it. If that's the only note I get from him tonight 'hallelujah' I'll take it," said Young.
As the first woman to commentate Raw and being a new voice on the broadcast in general, Young said she believes it added to the show and benefited Corey Graves and Michael Cole.
"It does have a refreshing feel to it...Cole and Graves have been in that booth for such a long time. To give them a new fresh perspective and a new voice; It's nice to have a different change to keep you on your toes and make you think about things a little differently," said Young.
After the show went off the air, Young did not look at social media right away but expressed her appreciation of the comments by fans leading up to this week's Raw.
The interview with Young is available at the WWE YouTube channel and the video at the top of this page.
