If a new report is correct, Bobby Lashley may be heading to WWE.
Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio reported last night that Bobby Lashley has been negotiating with both WWE and New Japan recently about coming in. Meltzer said that Lashley has stopped negotiating with New Japan Pro Wrestling and is likely heading to WWE. People in both Impact Wrestling and New Japan think he will de debuting imminently, meaning he could possibly be at the Royal Rumble tonight, or shortly thereafter.
An idea for Lashley, according to the report, may be a program with Brock Lesnar. It wouldn't be at WrestleMania, but it would be a program following that event, as Lesnar is currently penciled in to face Roman Reigns. While Lesnar is usually told about storylines for him in advance, Meltzer said Lesnar hasn't been informed about a possible program with Lashley.
Lashley finished up with Impact two weeks ago at their tapings, losing twice to Brian Cage on his way out. He was originally part of WWE from 2004-2008 before leaving reportedly due to issues with Michael Hayes.
