Brian Cage is reportedly a free agent after his contract with IMPACT Wrestling expired. Cage wrestled at IMPACT Hard To Kill on Sunday, losing via referee stoppage after taking a Vanterminator courtesy of Rob Van Dam. Cage reportedly had a torn bicep, though it is unclear if the injury happened during the match or he came into the match with the injury.
Mike Johnson at PWInsider reports Cage is mulling over several offers from promotions but has not signed with anyone. It was reported by SoCalUncensored on Sunday that Cage had signed with All Elite Wrestling, but his wife Melissa Santos was quick to deny the report.
Really?? How can you confirm something that isn't true???? I'm his wife and I can CONFIRM, he hasn't signed on any dotted line. @socaluncensored https://t.co/ao2EZ67PsR

SoCalUncensored's report noted that IMPACT and ROH have made offers to Cage, with ROH making the highest bid for him.
No promotion, nor Cage or Santos, has confirmed the signing of the former IMPACT World Champion. He is scheduled to wrestle for Bar Wrestling on Jan. 23.
Fightful will continue to update fans on Cage's status as more is known.
