Report: Charlotte Flair To Undergo Surgery For Torn ACL, MCL, And Meniscus

Charlotte Flair is set to have surgery after she suffered an injury on the December 8 episode of WWE SmackDown.

Flair faced Asuka in a WrestleMania rematch on the show. At one point in the match, Flair apparently suffered an injury during a commercial break, as she fell off the top rope. Fans in attendance shared footage of Flair saying that she had hurt her knee. Bayley then interfered and helped Asuka score the win, and officials helped Flair to the back. On the December 15 episode of WWE SmackDown, WWE announced that Flair would be sidelined for nine months due to the injury.

Per Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Flair suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus when she fell from the top rope, and she will have surgery as soon as the procedure can be scheduled. She will be having surgery as soon as it can be scheduled,

Dave Meltzer also reported about the injury in the December 17 edition of Sunday's Daily Update.
