Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan competed in the main event of NXT, defending their Tag Team Championships against Karrion Kross and Finn Balor.
Unfortunately for Burch, he suffered a separated shoulder during the match.
PWInsider first reported that "word making the rounds backstage" was Burch separated his right shoulder, but he was still being evaluated at the time of their report. The Wrestling Observer confirmed the news of a separated shoulder injury.
The injury seemingly occurred on a suplex spot with Kross. After the spot, Burch rolled to the outside and was attended to by medical officials. The NXT announce team made note of Burch being checking on by the medical team. Burch didn't return in the match.
NXT releases its weekly injury report at the end of the week. It is unknown how long Burch will be sidelined.
Lorcan ended up winning the match for his team, pinning Balor after Kross attacked his teammate, and successfully defending the NXT Tag Team Titles.
