Report: Johnny Impact's Contract With IMPACT Wrestling Has Expired

Is Johnny Impact headed elsewhere?

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Johnny Impact's contract with IMPACT Wrestling has expired, making the former IMPACT World Champion a free agent. Impact's contract with the promotion reportedly expired "several weeks ago" but the two sides agreed on a deal that would see Impact work through Sunday's Slammiversary event in order to finish up his feud with X Division Champion Rich Swann.

PWInsider goes on to report that Johnny Impact and IMPACT Wrestling are in talks to continue their relationship, but no agreement has been made and that Impact is free to sign with whomever.

Impact debuted in IMPACT Wrestling in 2017 and is a former IMPACT World Champion. Along with his commitments to IMPACT Wrestling, the former John Morrison works various Independent dates across the United States and was a big part of Lucha Undergound as Johnny Mundo during their time on television.

His wife, Taya Valkyrie, is the current Knockouts Champion and her contract reportedly runs through the end of 2019.
