An update on Kofi Kingston.
According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, Kofi Kingston is not currently cleared to perform. He was not on the road for WWE SummerSlam or Raw.
Xavier Woods was at SummerSlam, appearing in a segment with The Miz and John Morrison, and competed on Raw, picking up a victory over Miz.
According to Johnson, Kingston was originally slated to be part of the promotional segment at SummerSlam pushing the Pure Life Purified Water brand and dressed as another member of the New World Order. Woods paid tribute to Scott Hall with his gear on Saturday.
Kingston last wrestled in a dark match on the August 16 episode of WWE Raw, teaming with Woods to defeat Miz & Morrison. He appeared on television earlier in the night, promoting New Day merchandise with Woods as Miz & Morrison argued and made up backstage.
It is unknown when Kingston will return to the ring.
