Report: Meiko Satomura To Retire, Final Match 'Likely' In Spring 2025

A new report on the future of Meiko Satomura.

According to Tokyo Sports, Meiko Satomura has made the decision to retire. The report notes that the timing of her retirement has not been decided, but it is "likely" to be in the spring of 2025, which will mark her 30th year in pro wrestling.

Satomura made her debut in April 1995.

Satomura is currently signed to WWE and is participating in the WWE Japan tour, which began on July 25th. She is considered by many fans and peers to be a pioneer of women's wrestling and has competed in Stardom, WCW, Sendai Girls, NJPW, and more organizations throughout her career.

She signed with WWE in 2020 and competed in NXT UK, winning the NXT UK Women's Championship during her time with the brand.
