Rey Mysterio reportedly re-signs with WWE.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Rey Mysterio has signed a new contract with WWE. Terms of the deal were not reported.
WWE has not confirmed the news.
Mysterio is currently sidelined with a knee injury. In mid-November it was reported that Mysterio would be out for six to eight weeks. He was written off television on the November 10 episode of WWE SmackDown when Santos Escobar attacked him and went after his knee.
Rey last wrestled at WWE Crown Jewel, losing the WWE United States Championship to Logan Paul.
Rey has been with WWE on and off since 2002. He has been back with the company full-time since 2018 and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2023.
It was reportedly earlier on Monday that Rey's son Dominik Mysterio had also re-signed with the company. Fans can learn more by clicking here.
