Samoa Joe's suspension is over, but he's still not medically cleared to compete.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Samoa Joe is not medically cleared from his concussion suffered while filming a commercial for WWE Raw.
On February 20 it was reported by Ryan Satin of WWE Backstage that Joe had suffered a concussion after hitting his head on a table during a WWE commercial shoot. Sources told Satin that Joe could be out for "a considerable amount of time." On February 25, WWE reported that Joe had been suspended 30 days for violating the Wellness Policy.
Joe has battled injury issues since the end of 2019. He was sidelined with a broken thumb from September 2019 to January 2020. During his time away, Joe appeared as a special guest analyst on WWE Backstage and guest commentator on WWE Raw. On January 27, Joe reportedly suffered a concussion during a tag team match. He was out of action for a couple of weeks before returning at a live event on February 8.
Joe was aligned with Kevin Owens and battling Seth Rollins, AOP, and Murphy before his injury.
