Report: Toni Storm Signs WWE United Kingdom Contract

Toni Storm is reportedly getting a deal like Pete Dunne.

According to Wrestling Observer, Toni Storm has signed a contract with WWE which is being described as a "UK Contract" which is a similar situation wrestlers like Pete Dunne, Tyler Bate, and Trent Seven have been in the last year. The details of the contract were not in the report but it was said Storm will have to take any date offered by WWE. Even though Pete Dunne has been WWE United Kingdom Champion for over a year, he has been able to wrestle all over the world for different promotions.

Last week, Wrestling Observer reported WWE offered contracts to around twenty United Kingdom talents in preparation of their "global localization" efforts. WWE is holding a two day event including the bulk of a tournament in the United Kingdom on June 18th and 19th.

A few days ago, Storm lost her Progress Women's Championship but still holds other championships in Europe and Japan. Last year, she made it to the semi-finals of the Mae Young Classic on the WWE Network where she lost to the eventual winner Kairi Sane.
