Report: Update On The Relationship Between wXw And WWE

An update on the relationship between the two parties.

WWE German announce team member Sebastian Hackl recently sent out a tweet about WWE kick-starting a relationship with 'Westside Xtreme Wrestling' which is a promotion based in Germany. The tweet from Hackl read that he was happy to hear that wXw began working with WWE and that the German independent wrestling scene will only benefit from that.

Former wXw World Heavyweight Champion and current WWE Performance Center trainier Robbie Brookside recently hosted workouts at the wXw academy and on top of that the sports-entertainment company will be holding tryouts in Germany this November. Nothing of this working relationship has been confirmed on WWE's side but a report by way of F4WOnline provided an update on the situation at hand. Before night one of wXw World Tag League, members of the European media had the opportunity to speak with wXw's head of talent relations Tassilo Jung. Jung stated that he was only permitted to discuss things such as what happened at the wXw workshop with Robbie Brookside. Jung added that there were on-going talks between both sides and they were also in talks months ago to air footage from the Pete Dunne versus WALTER match that took place during the wXw Shotgun tapings this past July.

Also according to the report, Jung stated that he expects wXw to be able to use NXT U.K. contracted talent much like how wXw has utilized the first-ever wXw Women's Champion Killer Kelly who is currently under contract with WWE but as of this writing there is no deal set in stone between wXw and WWE.
