Mr. McMahon is getting the credit for Monday's episode of Raw.
On Monday, the majority of the first two hours of Raw consisted of one gauntlet match. Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, John Cena, Elias, Finn Balor, The Miz, and Braun Strowman were the competitors in the match. The seven men have been scheduled to be in a Elimination Chamber match on Sunday. Rollins had the most outstanding performance as he wrestled for over an hour.
PWInsider reported Vince McMahon was the creative force behind the match. It was also noted others within WWE were surprised by the suggestion.
Ratings for Raw were higher than the last two weeks. The first two hours of Raw had an average of at least 3.5 million viewers.
On Sunday, the seven wrestlers will face off in one of Sunday's Elimination Chamber matches. The winner of the match will be facing Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 34 for the WWE Universal Championship.
