AEW Collision (10/14/23) Results: Christian Cage vs Bryan Danielson, Samoa Joe, Adam Copeland, More

On October 14, 2023, All Elite Wrestling hosted a new episode of AEW Rampage on TNT.

The show was headlined by Bryan Danielson challenging Christian Cage for the TNT Championship. Also on the show, Kris Statlander defended her TBS Title against Skye Blue, Adam Copeland is set to appear, and Samoa Joe faced Willie Mack for the ROH World Television Title. The full results are listed below.

AEW Rampage Preview, Start Time, How To Watch (11/22): Big Boom! AJ And QT Marshall Weigh In

AEW Collision (10/14/2023).

  • Tony Schiavone, Kevin Kelly & Nigel McGuiness welcomed the audience to the broadcast before transitioning into the opening segment.
  • Adam Copeland kicked off the show to call out Christian Cage. Cage confronted Copeland, but was surrounded by AEW Security Staff (including Jake Christ & Myron Reed). Cage told Coepland that if he stuck any time longer in AEW, he would be known for nothing like everyone in Toledo, Ohio. Bryan Danielson interrupted the segment, where he revealed that Nick Wayne & Luchasaurus were barred from ringside for the Main Event. Newly crowned AEW Tag Team Champions Ricky Starks & Big Bill, where Starks talked trash about Cage, Copeland & Danielson for taking time out of Bill & Starks.
    Starks then called out Danielson and challenged them to a fight, but that proposal was interrupted by FTR (Dax Hardwood & Cash Wheeler). FTR praised Starks & Bill for their win last week but did say that they were at the top of the list of challengers. The security guards attacked FTR, Copeland & Danielson. FTR hit Myron Reed with the Big Rig while Danielson put the LeBelle Lock on another guard.
  • There was a video package of AEW World Heavyweight Champion MJF speaking in the Stand Up To Jewish Hate, hosted by Patriots owner Robert Kraft.
  • ROH World Television Championship Match: Samoa Joe (c) def. Willie Mack.
  • Lexy Nair interviewed CJ Perry backstage, where she stated that she was there to help people, take gold, and make champions & stars. Perry was interrupted by Action Andretti to tell Perry he was interested in Perry's representation.
  • There was a vignette of Danhausen, where he stated that it was "almost time" for his return.
  • Juice Robinson (w/ Colten Gunn, Austin Gunn & Jay White of Bullet Club Gold) def. Christopher Daniels.
    • After the match, Robinson was given a diamond ring by Jay White. Robinson used the ring and hit a vicious jab at Daniels. Robinson then cut a promo and stated that he got the ring from TJ Maxx before promising to win the Dynamite Diamond Ring & sell it to the Pawn Shop after he wins the Dynamite Diamond RIng Dozen Battle Royal on the 10/18/2023 edition of Dynamite. White then said that Bullet Club Gold's assault on MJF was due to the attack from the Devil at White and promised to beat MJF for the AEW World Title at AEW Full Gear.
  • Dustin Rhodes cut a promo backstage, where he said that he was returning on the 10/18 edition of AEW Dynamite and promised to win the Dynamite Diamond Ring.
  • Nick Wayne was interviewed backstage by Lexy Nair, where Nair revealed that he would have a sit-down interview with Jim Ross & his own mom.
  • Kyle Fletcher def. Boulder.
  • Renee Paquette interviewed AEW World Trios Champions "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn & The Acclaimed backstage. Caster shouted out MJF, but Gunn & Bowens said that he had a terrible game. They told Caster to talk nice, which led to Catser asking Paquette the following: "How about those Oral Sessions, Renee?". Paquette ran down on Caster before being interrupted by Matt Menard, Jake Hager, Daniel Garcia & Angelo Parker, who challenged The Acclaimed & Gunn for the Trios Titles.
  • TBS Championship: Kris Statlander (c) def. Skye Blue.
    • After the match, Willow Nightingale lifted Skye Blue after the match. Statlander stared daggers at Willow & Blue.
  • Kyle Fletcher cut a promo backstage wishing good wishes to Mark Davis. After that, Fletcher called out Kenny Omega to a match at AEW Dynamite.
  • There was a video vignette of La Faccion Ingobernable (Preston Vance, Jose The Assistant, Dralistico & RUSH) where they announced they were set to return soon.
  • Keith Lee def. Turbo Floyd.
    • Shane Taylor & Lee Moriarty watched the match backstage.
  • Miro cut a promo, saying that the last weeks have been testing since CJ Perry made her debut in AEW. Miro said that he was willing to destroy every man who wished to be a client of Perry to protect his woman.
  • There was a video package running down the career of Mistico ahead of his debut on the 10/20/2023 edition of AEW Rampage, narrated by his opponent Rocky Romero.
  • TNT Championship Match - Luchasaurus & Nick Wayne Banned From Ringside: Christian Cage (c) def. Bryan Danielson.
    • In the last part of the match, Bryan Danielson had the LeBelle Lock on Cage. Big Bill distracted the referee, which allowed Ricky STarks to use his AEW Tag Team Title belt to hit Danielson and allow Cage to get the pin on Danielson for the win.
    • Ricky Starks, Luchasaurus, Nick Wayne, Christian Cage & Big Bill attacked Danielson after the match, but Adam Copeland & FTR (Dax Hardwood & Cash Wheeler) made the save. As Cage, Starks, Luchasaurus & Big Bill retreated the ring, Copeland hit a spear on Wayne before the end of the broadcast.
