Yuji Nagata, Tomoyuki Oka & Syota Umino vs. David Finlay, Toa Henare & Ren Narita

The match begins with Finlay and Umino doing some chain wrestling, Narita tags in and Oka gets the tag as well. Oka takes Narita down with a pair of throws before applying the headlock, Oka then drops Narita with a shoulder tackle and slam. Nagata tags in and he drops Narita with a kick to the upper body, Umino tags back in and he wrenches away on the arm of Narita. Oka tags in and he stomps away on a downed Narita, Narita fights back and he catches Oka with a running drop kick. Finlay tags in and he nails Oka with a series of running European uppercuts, Finlay then hits Oka with a middle rope European uppercut for a near fall.

Oka recovers and he nails Finlay with a belly to belly suplex, Nagata tags in and he nails Finlay with a series of kicks. Nagata then nails Finlay with a drop kick to the knee, Finlay recovers and he catches Nagata with a choke breaker. Nagata gets back up to nail Finlay with an exploder suplex, Henare and Umino get the tags from their respective partners. Henare and Umino immediately get into a striking exchange, Umino then catches Henare with a drop kick and a few running back elbow strikes. Umino follows that up with a missile drop kick on Henare for a near fall, Umino applies the arm bar to Henare and Henare gets free. Henare levels a charging Umino with a lariat for a near fall, Henare nails Umino with a Samoan drop for the three count.

Winners: David Finlay, Toa Henare & Ren Narita

Bullet Club (Tonga Loa & Yujiro Takahashi) vs. Killer Elite Squad (Davey Boy Smith Jr. & Lance Archer)

The match begins with KES jumping Bullet Club before the bell sounds and the brawl spills to the are a floor, KES quickly throws their opponents into the barricade a few times. Loa and Takahashi fight back against KES, Smith Jr gets Loa in the ring and he nails him with a few forearm strikes. Loa and Smith Jr have a brief shoulder tackle exchange, Loa corners Smith Jr before landing a bunch of strikes. Loa then catches a dazed Smith Jr with a middle rope axe handle drop, Archer interferes and that allows Smith Jr to get the advantage over Loa. Archer and Takahashi brawl again on the arena floor, Archer attacks Takahashi with a barricade shot to the back.

Smith Jr holds Loa down while applying a chin lock, Smith Jr releases the hold to hit Loa with a suplex and then he tags Archer into the match. Archer quickly nails Loa with a shoulder tackle for a near fall, Archer holds Loa down while landing a bunch of strikes. Smith Jr tags in and he works with Archer to hit Loa with a double slam, Smith Jr gets Loa in the corner before choking him. Smith Jr follows that up with a slam on Loa for another near fall, Archer tags in and Loa quickly takes him down with a hurricarana. Takahashi tags in and he quickly nails Archer with a kick to the face followed by a bulldog, Takahashi gets Archer to the ropes before landing another kick to the face. Takahashi then attacks Smith Jr with a suicide dive, Loa hits the ring and Bullet Club double teams Archer.

Takahashi then catches Archer with a fisherman buster suplex for a near fall, Smith Jr and Loa take their battle to the arena floor. KES then hit Takahashi with a modified Hart Attack followed by the Killer Bomb for the three count.

Kota Ibushi & Chase Owens vs. Suzuki-Gun (Zack Sabre Jr. & Taka Michinoku)

The match begins with Sabre Jr doing a little chain wrestling with Ibushi, Sabre Jr gets Ibushi down while pulling back on his arms. Sabre Jr transitions to the scarf hold against Ibushi, Ibushi gets free and he catches Sabre Jr in his own scarf hold. Ibushi releases the hold and he drops Sabre Jr with a kick, Owens tags in and he nails Sabre Jr with a few strikes followed by a neck breaker. Sabre Jr recovers and he cracks the arm of Owens, Michinoku tags in and he drops Owens with an enzaguri. Michinoku traps Owens in the ropes before choking him with his foot, Sabre Jr tags in and he nails Owens with a few strikes.

Sabre Jr traps the arm of Owens in his legs before twisting away on it, Michinoku tags back in and Owens attacks him with forearm strikes. Michinoku gets Owens down before juststomping away on him, Michinoku then gets Owens in the corner before landing a knee strike. Sabre Jr tags in and he catches Owens in a guillotine choke, Owens gets free and he drops Sabre Jr with a suplex. Ibushi tags in and he cleans house on the opposing team, Ibushi drops both opponents with a double overhead kick. Ibushi then hits Sabre Jr with a power slam followed by a middle rope moonsault for a near fall, Ibushi follows that up by dropping Sabre Jr with a series of strikes.

Ibushi goes for the moonsault and Sabre Jr catches him in a guillotine choke, Ibushi gets out of the hold before having a striking exchange with Sabre Jr. Sabre Jr then drops Ibushi before landing a penalty kick, Michinoku tags in and he immediately eats a kick from Ibushi. Owens tags in and he double teams Michinoku with Ibushi for a near fall. Michinoku recovers and he nails a swinging Owens with a knee strike, Michinoku follows that up with a bicycle kick before eating a clothesline from Owens. Sabre Jr tries interfering and Ibushi takes him out with a dive, Owens hits Michinoku with a package pile driver for a three count.

Winners: Kota Ibushi & Chase Owens

Chaos (Tomohiro Ishii, Toru Yano & Chuckie T) vs. Los Ingobernables (Tetsuya Naito, Bushi & Sanada)

The match begins with Yano trying to remove the turnbuckle pads, Sanada attacks Yano from behind and he attempts to lock him in the paradise lock. T tags in and Sanada drops him with a shoulder tackle, T recovers to catch Sanada in a roll up for a near fall. T goes for a submission hold and Bushi hits the ring to break it up, Naito interferes and that allows Sanada to hit T with a basement drop kick. A brawl breaks out between both teams and it spills to the arena floor, Naito tags in and he nails a cornered T with a ton of strikes. Bushi tags in and he stomps away on a downed T alongside Naito, Bushi keeps T down while applying the STF.

Naito tags back in and T catches him with a knee strike followed by a missile drop kick, Ishii tags in and he quickly nails Naito with a suplex after a series of reversals. Ishii gets Naito up and he levels him with a series of chops, Naito recovers and he catches Ishii with a rope assisted back breaker followed by a neck breaker. Naito waits for Ishii to get back up before landing some forearm strikes, Naito drops Ishii with a modified back breaker before landing a basement drop kick. Sanada and Yano get tagged in by their respective partners, Sanada takes Yano around the world before rolling him up for a near fall. Sanada then catches Yano in the paradise lock before landing a drop kick, Yano surprises Sanada with a roll up for a near fall.

Bushi tags in and he nails Yano with a missile drop kick, Los Ingobernables hit the ring to nail Yano with a triple drop kick for a near fall. Bushi goes for MX and Yano gets the ref in the way, Yano then catches Bushi with a low blow and roll up for the three count.

Winners: Chaos (Tomohiro Ishii, Toru Yano & Chuckie T)

Chaos (Kazuchika Okada, Hirooki Goto & Yoshi-Hashi) vs. Suzuki-Gun (Minoru Suzuki, Taichi & Takashi Iizuka)

The match begins with Suzuki-Gun jumping Chaos before the bell sounds and the battle quickly spills to the arena floor. Okada throws an attacking Suzuki into the barricade, Taichi and Yoshi-Hashi continue their battle inside of the ring. Yoshi-Hashi catches Taichi with a few strikes before nailing him with a rolling neck breaker, Yoshi-Hashi gets Taichi up and he nails him with a chop. Iizuka interferes and he nails Yoshi-Hashi with a chair shot while the referee was distracted, a second brawl breaks out on the arena floor between both teams. Suzuki traps Okada under a barricade while nailing him with chair shots, Iizuka and Taichi would then double team Yoshi-Hashi in the ring for a short time.

Iizuka tags in and he bites the arm of a cornered Yoshi-Hashi, Iizuka then takes the opportunity to stomp away on a downed Yoshi-Hashi. Iizuka follows that up by biting the foot of Yoshi-Hashi, Yoshi-Hashi fights back and Iizuka rakes the eyes and stomps away on him. Suzuki tags in and he kicks Yoshi-Hashi right in the back for a near fall, Yoshi-Hashi tries fighting back and Suzuki drops him with a single blow. Taichi tags in and he nails Yoshi-Hashi with a variety of kicks, Taichi gets Yoshi-Hashi in the corner before landing a clothesline for a near fall. Taichi looks for a power bomb and Yoshi-Hashi counters with a back body drop, Yoshi-Hashi then nails Taichi with a mule kick before tagging Goto into the match.

Goto quickly cleans house on the opposing team before hitting Taichi with a spin kick in the corner, Goto then hits Taichi with a belly to back suplex for a near fall. Goto misses a charge to the corner and Taichi kicks him in the head, Taichi goes for the super kick and Goto counters with a modified neck breaker. Okada and Suzuki get tagged into the match by their respective partners, Okada quickly plants Suzuki with a DDT for a near fall. Okada tries going to the top rope and Suzuki stops him before landing a penalty kick, Suzuki applies the knee bar to Okada and Okada gets to the ropes. Okada and Suzuki get into a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Suzuki gets Okada in a sleeper hold as Iizuka tags into the match.

Suzuki-Gun would then triple team Okada before Iizuka chokes him with a piece of rope for a near fall, Iizuka grabs the iron claw and Yoshi-Hashi takes him out with a super kick. A brawl between members of both teams spills to the arena floor, Okada then drops Iizuka with a drop kick before applying the cobra clutch and a tap out follows.

Winners: Chaos (Kazuchika Okada, Hirooki Goto & Yoshi-Hashi)

NJPW New Japan Cup Quarterfinals: Michael Elgin vs. Juice Robinson

The match begins with a little chain wrestling between Elgin and Robinson, Robinson briefly holds Elgin in a headlock. Robinson tries dropping Elgin with a shoulder tackle and Elgin winds up dropping him, Elgin goes for a suplex and Robinson escapes to land a back suplex on him. Elgin would then trap Robinson in the ropes to land an enzaguri followed by a slingshot neck breaker, Elgin then hits Robinson with a snap suplex for a near fall. Elgin follows that up by nailing Robinson with a forearm strike, Elgin traps Robinson in the corner while assaulting him with chops. Robinson escapes the clutches of Elgin to land his patented jabs, Elgin recovers to slam Robinson.

Robinson avoids the slingshot splash from Elgin and Elgin rolls out of the ring, Robinson then takes out Elgin with a dive. Robinson gets Elgin back in the ring and he nails him with an electric chair driver for a near fall, Elgin recovers and he nails Robinson with some forearm strikes. Robinson fights back and he kicks Elgin in the face before landing a gut buster, Elgin eventually catches Robinson with a death valley driver into the corner after a series of reversals. Elgin keeps Robinson trapped in the corner before putting him on the top rope, Elgin follows Robinson up there before landing a superplex for a near fall. Elgin gets Robinson up and he levels him with a forearm strike, Elgin then hits Robinson with an Elgin Bomb for a near fall.

Elgin goes to the top rope and he misses the phoenix press on Robinson, Robinson tries fighting back and Elgin quickly drops him. Elgin and Robinson would then exchange clotheslines until Elgin lands a forearm strike, Elgin then hits Robinson with a release German suplex. Robinson recovers and he cracks a charging Elgin with a lariat, Robinson then hits Elgin with a power bomb for a near fall. Robinson goes for Pulp Friction and Elgin counters with a modified side effect for a near fall, Robinson escapes the clutches of Elgin to drop him with a left. Elgin recovers and he catches Robinson with a half nelson release German suplex, Elgin would again crack Robinson with a forearm strike that is followed by a lariat.

Elgin then nails Robinson with a buckle bomb, Robinson recovers and surprises Elgin with a small package from out of nowhere for the three count.

Winner: Juice Robinson

NJPW New Japan Cup Quarterfinals: Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Bad Luck Fale

The match begins with Fale shoving Tanahashi to the ground, Tanahashi tries tripping up Fale and Fale gets free. Tanahashi goes for the abdominal stretch and Fale breaks free to nail him with a hip toss, Fale goes out of the ring and Tanahashi catches him with a baseball slide drop kick. Tanahashi goes into the crowd and Fale chases him back into the ring, Tanahashi gets to the ring apron and Fale trips him up to cause him to fall to the arena floor. Fale drags Tanahashi into the crowd before throwing him into a bunch of chairs, Fale grabs a few pieces of the barricade and he drops them on top of Tanahashi. Fale waits for Tanahashi to get back into the ring before trapping him on the ring apron to land a splash, Fale waits again for Tanahashi to get back into the ring so he can just stand up top of him.

Fale then slams and sits on top of Tanahashi for a near fall, Fale holds Tanahashi down while applying the nerve hold. Fale lets go of the hold and Tanahashi attacks him with a few strikes, Fale recovers and he crushes Tanahashi with clothesline strikes. Tanahashi recovers and he trips up a charging Fale to send him crashing into the corner, Tanahashi then attacks Fale with a plethora of strikes. Tanahashi would then attack Fale with a series of drops kicks before slamming him, Fale recovers to nail a charging Tanahashi with a Samoan drop. Fale follows that up with a splash on Tanahashi for a near fall, Tanahashi fights back and Fale nails him with a clothesline for another near fall.

Fale goes for the Bad Luck Fall and Tanahashi counters with a roll up for a near fall, Fale then goes for the Grenade and Tanahashi escapes to nail him with a release German suplex. Tanahashi then hits Fale with a sling blade, Tanahashi then uses a clothesline to knock Fale to the arena floor. Tanahashi nails a standing Fale with a High Fly Flow on the arena floor, Fale recover and he nails Tanahashi with a clothesline on the ring apron. Fale looks for a Bad Luck Fall on the arena floor and Tanahashi escapes before shoving him into the barricade. Tanahashi then beats the twenty count back into the ring to win the match.
