Mixed Match Challenge
Nia Jax & Apollo vs Charlotte & Bobby Roode
Bobby starts the match and does the Flair strut only for Charlotte to chastise him and correct him and do it herself. Roode hits a snapmare before playing to the crowd, then Apollo comes back with a series of hip tosses and arm drags. Roode comes back with a series of chops before Apollo dropkicks him and Bobby tags Charlotte in. Nia tosses Charlotte around, showing off her strength before Charlotte comes back with a boot and a dropkick that sends Nia out of the ring out of the ring. Nia gets back in the ring and hits a running splash in the corner and a scoop slam into an elbow drop for a quick two count.
Charlotte comes back with a series of chop blocks that grounds Nia before Charlotte locks in a figure four that Nia gets out of with a headbutt. Charlotte tags Bobby in and he hits a diving clothesline before going for the Glorious DDT, but Apollo counters it. Roode then hits the Glorious DDT for the pin and the win while Nia and Charlotte are busy in the other half of the ring.
Winner: Bobby Roode & Charlotte defeat Nia Jax & Apollo via pinfall when Bobby hits Apollo with the Glorious DDT.
205 Live
Ariya Daivari vs Buddy Murphy
They lock up to start the match before locking up again for a clean break, then Buddy mocks Ariya before sending him out of the ring with a huricanrrana. They get up on the apron and Ariya hits a reverse DDT onto the apron before rolling Buddy back into the ring for a near fall. Ariya whips Buddy into several corners for a quick two count before Buddy hits a stunner and a missile dropkick, then hits a flipping senton over the top rope and onto the floor when Ariya gets out of the ring. Buddy hits a meteora off of the top for a near fall before Ariya drops him with a discus forearm and hits a frog splash for a near fall. Ariya then turns Buddy inside out with a wrist lock lariat for a very close near fall before Buddy hits a pump handle neckbreaker for the pin and the win.
Winner: Buddy Murphy defeats Ariya Daivari via pinfall with a pump handle neckbreaker.
-Drake Maverick is backstage and makes a match between Cedric Alexander and TJP before our next match.
-Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik have a very quick squash match against local talent with Kalisto at ringside.
-After the match we have a phone promo by Mark Andrews before we go to commercial before our main event.
WWE Cruiserweight Championship Tournament First Round Match
Jack Gallagher vs Mustafa Ali
They lock up to start the match for a surprisingly clean break before exchanging wrist locks and hammer locks as we see Buddy watching the match backstage. Jack puts Ali in a Fujiwara armbar, but he's quick to the ropes for the break before Ali puts Jack in a single leg Boston crab that he kicks his way out of. They exchange pinning attempts until they get back to their feet and square off before shoving each other and Jack dropping Ali with a headbutt to the midsection and a high knee. Jack sends Ali out of the ring before he gets back in and Jack drops him with a back elbow for a quick two count. Jack hits a suplex into a series of elbow drops for a quick two count before Ali comes back with a flurry of offense into a dropkick.
Ali hits a huricanrrana before hitting a rolling sit-out facebuster, then Jack catches him up top and hyper extends his arm before sending him shoulder first into the ring post and out of the ring and onto the floor. Jack rolls Ali back into the ring and gets a near fall before focusing on his injured arm, then Ali sends Jack out of the ring before missing a corkscrew senton, getting back in the ring at the count of nine. Ali counters a straight armbar twice before Jack dropkicks him off of the top and into the barricade before Jack comes out and tosses him into the barricade and rolls him back into the ring. Jack then suplexes Ali into the corner for a near fall before Ali comes back and hits a tornado DDT into an imploding 459 Splash for the pin and the win.
Winner: Mustafa Ali defeats Jack Gallagher via pinfall with an imploding 450 splash and gains entrance to the WWE Cruiserweight Championship Tournament Finale.
