Good afternoon Fight Fans and welcome to our coverage of today's edition of WWE NXT UK headlined by a six man tag between South Wales Subculture joined by Dave Mastiff to take on three fourths of Imperium! Please enjoy the show.
-We open the show with a recap of NXT UK's victories at Worlds Collide.
The Hunt vs Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch
Wild and Danny start things off by exchanging holds before Danny takes him down with a side headlock takeover. Primate comes in and slams Danny before Danny hits a flap jack and he and Oney double up on Primate before he comes back with back elbows and gets the tag to Wild. Oney rocks Wild before he and Danny hit a double suplex for two before Oney locks in an abdominal stretch before Wild bites his hand to break the hold. Primate comes in and clotheslines Oney before suplexing Burch and Lorcan and hitting running clotheslines in opposite corners. Primate turns Oney inside out with a lariat for two before Danny sends Wild off of the apron and Oney and Danny hit an assisted powerbomb for a near fall.
Wild gets on the apron before Primate sends Danny out of the ring and suplexes Oney before getting the tag to Wild Boar who gets dropped with a headbutt. Wild then misses a splash off of the apron before Oney runs over Primate and Lorcan and Burch hit an assisted spike DDT for the pin and the win.
Winner: Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan defeat The Hunt via pinfall when they pin Primate with an assisted spike DDT.
-We get a post match interview with Toni Storm after her loss to Rhea Ripley at Worlds Collide where she says that Kay Lee Ray is still in her head and it needs to end before leaving as we go to commercial.
-Eddie Dennis comes out to the ring and shows a video of what he did to Trent Seven at NXT UK Takeover:Blackpool II and Trent comes out to the ring and says that he's boring, a liar and a cheat. Trent then proposes that they have a rematch with an exposed turnbuckle match with all of the turnbuckle pads off in a Street Fight. Trent then exchanges with Eddie before running him off and sending him packing.
-We then get an interview with Tyler Bate at the NXT UK Performance Center before we get a graphic of Ridge Holland in action today as we go to video package for Ava Valkyrie.
Nina Samuels vs Isla Dawn
Nina takes Isla down before she's dropkicked and Isla rolls Nina up for one before Nina sends Isla face first into the mat. Nina applies a headlock into a shoulder block before Isla comes back with a dropkick and Nina knocks her off of the apron and down onto the floor with a hand spring kick. Nina sends Isla face first into the apron before rolling her back into the ring for two and tosses Isla across the ring by her hair. Nina whips Isla into the corner and hits an ax kick into a twisting leg drop for two, Nina following up with a rear chin lock before Isla counters a scoop slam. Nina sends Isla face first into the middle turnbuckle and drops her with knees to the back before Isla hits a back suplex and forearms.
Isla then counters a fireman's carry and hits a diving meteora into a bridging half and half suplex for the pin and the win.
Winner: Isla Dawn defeats Nina Samuels via pinfall with a bridging half and half suplex.
-We go backstage to Ilja Dragunov being interviewed after his defeat to Finn Bálor at Worlds Collide where he says that he needs to refocus and get ready for Joe Coffey and that he will not miss again before leaving as we go to commercial.
-We come back to an interview with Lorcan and Burch who say that they came to NXT UK to test themselves against Gallus.
Tyson T-Bone vs Ridge Holland
Ridge backs Tyson into the ropes before they brawl until Ridge hits an overhead belly to belly suplex for two. Ridge rocks Tyson with uppercuts before Tyson hits a northern lights suplex for a one count and Ridge hits several headbutts into an Alabama slam. Ridge then hits Northern Grit for the pin and the win.
Winner: Ridge Holland defeats Tyson T-Bone via pinfall with Northern Grit.
-Tyler Bate versus A-Kid as well as Trent Seven and Eddie Dennis in a Steel Corners Street Fight is announced for next week's show.
South Wales Subculture & Dave Mastiff vs Imperium (Fabian Aichner, Marcel Barthel & Alexander Wolfe) w/WALTER
Mark and Marcel get things going with Marcel showing off his superior strength and taking the high flying Andrews down to the mat and controlling him with ease. Fabian comes in and hits a deep arm drag into a straight armbar before Mark gets the tag to Flash and they hit a stereo dropkick. Fabian applies an ankle lock and tags in Wolfe who gets dropped with an arm drag and a dropkick before Flash hits an inverted senton for two. Dave gets the tag and takes out both Wolfe and Aichner before Mark hits a tilt-a-whirl head scissors and Marcel comes in only to get hit with a jumping stomp. Flash hits a standing moonsault for two before Dave comes in and hits a delayed suplex for two and he and Mark hit an assisted corkscrew senton.
SWS and Mastiff isolate Barthel before Flash walks over the back of Marcel and hits Wolfe with a huricanrrana. Wolfe turns Flash inside out with a German suplex before Fabian chops Flash in the corner and whips him into the corner. Fabian stomps Flash and puts him in a single leg tree of woe before Imperium hit a double running basement dropkick. Marcel drops Flash with a chop to the throat before Flash fights back and gets hit with a spinebuster into a PK for two after knocking Mark off of the apron. Flash fights out of the opposite corner and gets the tag to Dave who runs over Fabian and sends Wolfe out of the ring before hitting Fabian with a rolling senton into a regular senton for two.
Mark gets the tag and hits a diving cross body to Fabian before Dave is sent out of the ring and Mark hits Stundog Millionaire. SWS hit stereo suicide dives before Dave hits a cannonball off of the apron onto Imperium at ringside and tosses Marcel and Fabian into the ring while mocking the Imperium pose. WALTER then tries to attack Dave from behind, but he's dropped before Fabian hits an assisted brainbuster to Mark for the pin and the win.
Winner: Imperium defeat South Wales Subculture and Dave Mastiff via pinfall when Barthel and Aichner hit Mark with an assisted brainbuster.
-We then end the show with Mastiff and WALTER staring each other down as we go off the air.
