WWE Raw (12/11/23) Results: CM Punk Chooses His Brand, Cody Rhodes Takes On Shinsuke Nakamura, More

WWE hosted its latest episode of Monday Night Raw on December 11, 2023. The episode featured CM Punk choosing which WWE brand he would be a part of moving forward.

Also. Rhea Ripley will be in non-title action against Maxxine Dupri and Becky Lynch looks to settle an old score by calling out Nia Jax.

Rounding out the impressive lineup, Drew McIntyre once again wrestles Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes will step into the ring with Shinsuke Nakamura after Nakamura attacked him with the red mist.

WWE Raw (12/11/23) Results

- A video package Recaps Drew McIntyre injuring Sami Zayn

- Jey Uso kicks off the show by welcoming the fans to Monday Night Raw and revealing that he got his yeet back. He addresses Drew McIntyre injuring Sami Zayn and asks the audience to say "yeet" if they want CM Punk on Monday Night Raw. Drew McIntyre interrupts, revealing that he doesn't want CM Punk on Monday Night Raw Because he believes Punk will destroy the brand from the inside out. He also had a message for Sami Zayn, the message was an apology. McIntyre used the apology to once again talk about how Jey Uso never apologized to him. They banter back and forth and their match kicks off.

- A video package recaps CM Punk's recent visits to SmackDown and NXT Deadline.

- A Shinsuke Nakamura promo says that Cody Rhodes will never be enough to finish his story and that his weakness is that he strives for the admiration of his fans, a burden that Shinsuke says he freed himself from. Shinsuke promises to put an end to the Cody Rhodes story, telling Cody he asked for what he's going to receive.

- Judgment Day is in their clubhouse. They say the wheels are falling off. Damien Priest says he and Finn Balor are going to handle business with the Creed Brothers. Rhea Ripley says she's going to handle business and wants to remind everyone that Judgment Day runs Monday Night Raw.

- Alpha Academy is hyping up Maxxine Dupri ahead of her match with Rhea Ripley. The Creed brothers and Ivy Nile show up. Ivy says she's going down to the ring with Maxxine just in case. R-Truth shows up, believing he's in Judgment Day's clubhouse. Truth has Christmas lights and he says he's going to decorate the clubhouse so that the group gets the Easter eggs they deserve. Everyone warns Truth to be careful with Judgment Day and they try to tell him he's not in the group. He swears that he is and that they are just misunderstood before wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and heading off.

- A vignette covered the friendship between Katana Chance and Kayden Carter.

Adam Pearce introduced CM Punk. CM Punk told a compelling story about his history with Cleveland in the very arena that Raw is being held in tonight he reflected on making his dark match debut in the arena. Losing the world championship without competing for it at WWE Unforgiven 2008 and walking out on the company in 2014. He says that he's going to fight his ghosts head-on and signs with WWE Raw.

Seth Rollins comes out. Rollins tells Punk not to call WWE his home because he spent the last 10 years trashing the place. Rollins says that he will be the first one to slam the door shut on CM Punk's Legacy when he inevitably self-destructs but if by some chance CM Punk has changed, Rollins welcomes the idea of a championship match between them.

Punk says that he's entering the Royal Rumble and says that maybe when he wins, he will go after Seth Rollins.

* Bronson Reed def. Ivar

- It is announced that Drew McIntyre will face Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the WWE Day 1 edition of Monday Night Raw. CM Punk is introduced to Chad Gable and Ricochet and is reintroduced to Kofi Kingston. He says Kofi is "Jamaican him crazy" as a call back to Kofi Kingston's original gimmick.

- Judgment Day cuts a promo about how they run Monday Night Raw. R-Truth interrupts this promo and talks about wanting to decorate the clubhouse for Christmas. Priest invites Truth into the ring and Judgment Day eventually beat him up. The Creed Brothers come out to save him.

* Kayden Carter & Katana Chance def. Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell

- Imperium and DIY have a backstage interaction. Gunther invites Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa to try and find a third partner to face Imperium.

- Becky Lynch calls out Nia Jax. Nia Jax arrives. Becky Lynch runs down her track record of injuring people. Jax says that it's because of that the people haven't stopped talking about her. Becky said she wants to change the narrative that she owes her career to Jax. Becky says if she can't end that lie then she needs to end Nia Jax. Jax twists that to say that Becky needs her.

- Cody Rhodes is interviewed by Jackie Redmond. He says that he's glad CM Punk is on Raw but both he and Punk understand that they can't finish their stories exactly the way they want to at the same time when there can only be one Royal Rumble winner. As for his match against Nakamura, he says that he is confident in what he asked for.

* DIY (Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano) & The Miz def. Imperium (Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser, and Giovanni Vinci)

- Backstage, The Miz demands a rematch for the Intercontinental Championship from Gunther. Gunther accepts Miz's challenge with the caveat that if Miz loses, he will never be allowed to compete for the championship again while "The Ring General" is the champion.

* Cody Rhodes def. Shinsuke Nakamura

- Cody won the match by disqualification when Shinsuke Nakamura misted him in the face as he was attempting CrossRhodes. Nakamura would continue the assault after the match until Julius and Brutus Creed came out to make the save. Nakamura would get in one last Kinshasa on the outside of the ring before the show went off the air.
