WWE Raw (7/29/24) Results

- Seth Rollins, CM Punk, and Drew McIntyre start the show with the referee instructions for the SummerSlam match. Seth Rollins' instructions boiled down to this: He will enjoy bossing them around and be very lenient with the rules to ensure it will be a violent match. Drew McIntyre tried to remind him that they both hate Punk and that he is the real enemy. Rollins quickly reminded him that he hates him just as much as CM Punk does. Punk relished the opportunity to tell Drew McIntyre he was the third wheel in the match. McIntyre showed CM Punk the bracelet with his family's names on it, trying to entice Punk to hit him, but Punk kept his cool.

- Judgment Day is shown in their clubhouse, and everyone's upset because Liv Morgan has wrecked the place. Damian Priest seems mad that this is even happening. He also wants the other group members to care for Jey Uso and Sami Zayn because he feels they're going backward.

* The Creed Brothers (Brutus & Julius Creed) vs. Akira Tozawa & Otis

Afterward, Chad Gable and the Creed Brothers are beating up Otis when they are interrupted by the Wyatt Sicks. Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, and Joe Gacy finally remove their masks and attack the Creeds. Gable escapes and is greeted by Uncle Howdy on the ramp.

- Back at the Judgment Day clubhouse, Dom and Ripley were irritated to find out Carlito had scheduled Dom in a bout against Sami Zayn instead of himself. Dom countered by suggesting Carlito knock out Jey in a bout instead. Ripley informed him that he would be facing Jey alone.

* Bronson Reed def. Sheamus

- Pete Dunne took out Sheamus with a Shillelagh, which led to Bronson Reed hitting the Tsunami.

- A Damian Priest vignette plays.

- A Bron Breakker vignette follows after a commercial break and a reminder that the countdown show ahead of SummerSlam will be 3 hours long.

* Jey Uso def. Carlito

- Cool finish to that match: Carlito was taking bites of his apple when Jey Uso hit him with a Spear, and apple chunks went flying.

- Jackie Redmond interviewed Zelina Vega. Vega said she needed a reminder of who she was, and that's how she defeated Zoe Stark last week. Stark, Shayna Baszler and Sonya Deville surrounded Vega and attacked her injured arm. Stark has newly dyed hair. Vega was later shown in the trainer's room.

- Miz has announced that he is hosting SummerSlam.

* Karrion Kross def. Xavier Woods

- Liv Morgan burned Dominik Mysterio merch and promised to end her revenge tour at WWE SummerSlam.

- Sami Zayn promises to kick Bron Breakker's ass at SummerSlam and handle business with Dom Mysterio tonight.

* Sami Zayn def. Dominik Mysterio via disqualification

- JD McDonagh and Carlito ran in to make the save. Jey Uso came to even the odds, and Bron Breakker attacked Zayn after the ring was cleared, but Zayn was one step ahead of his younger challenger and sent him from the ring multiple times.

- Dexter Lumis was featured in the latest Wyatt VHS therapy session. Chad Gable said that he and the Creed Brothers want to face three members of the Wyatt Sicks next week, and Adam Pearce made it official.

- Rhea Ripley is featured in a vignette, and she promises to end Morgan's Revenge Tour

* Sonya Deville, Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark defeated Lyra Valkyria, Kayden Carter & Katana Chance

- Damage CTRL (IYO Sky, Kairi Sane, and Dakota Kai) returned. Seemingly in a babyface role, they attacked Sonya Deville, Shayna Baszler, and Zoey Stark.

- Gunther is featured in a vignette and runs down Judgment Day.

- Cathy Kelley interviewed Damage CTRL. Dakota Kai challenged Sonya Deville to a match for next week.

- Judgment Day is featured in one last backstage vignette. Finn Balor insists on facing Gunther alone. The group says they will get back on track after SummerSlam.

* Gunther def. Finn Balor

- Gunther won the match with a sleeper hold and didn't relinquish it. Priest came out to make the save and beat Gunther all over the ringside area to close the show.
