  • Wyatt Sicks (Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, & Erick Rowan) vs. Chad Gable & The Creed Brothers (Julius Creed & Brutus Creed)
  • Dakota Kai vs. Sonya Deville
  • New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston) vs. AOP (Akam & Rezar)
  • Awesome Truth (Miz & R-Truth) vs. A-Town Down Under (Grayson Waller & Austin Theory)
  • CM Punk to appear

WWE Raw (8/5/24) Results

- The event began with Ludwig Kaiser in the ring, introducing us to Gunther, the new World Heavyweight Champion. Gunther introduced himself as the longest-reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion, WWE King of the Ring, and the new champion. Randy Orton eventually interrupted him and announced that he would be facing Gunther at WWE Bash in Berlin because Gunther got a tainted victory over Randy at WWE King and Queen of the Ring. They shook hands. Gunther said nothing was going to come out of nowhere for him. Randy says he wants to see it coming.

- Sheamus cuts a promo

* Sheamus def. Ludwig Kaiser

- Pete Dunne tried to attack Sheamus with a shillelagh but to no avail.

- A vignette plays comparing the Wyatt Sicks to the Wyatt Family.

- Damian Priest storms to the ring. He calls out Finn Balor and calls the fans his new family. Finn Balor appears on the video wall and reveals that this was a year in the making after Priest cost him the World Championship last year. Balor introduces the new Judgment Day: Carlito, JD McDonagh, Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio, and Balor. Finn says he will wait to attack Priest until Priest feels safe. However, he does say JD will be fighting him soon.

* Lyra Valkyria def. Shayna Baszler by DQ.

- Stark attacks Valkyria. Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai, Kairi Sane, and IYO Sky) hits the ring and attacks Baszler, Sonya Deville, and Stark.

- Final Testament vignette.

- The Creed Brothers are talking to Ivy Nile. Maxxine Dupri approaches them and questions where Nile has been. Nile tries to apologize for the Creed Brothers' behavior. Chad Gable comes up and says Nile has nothing to discuss with Dupri. Nile leaves with Gable.

- CM Punk is out, and he's got a taped fist and a smile on his face. CM Punk says he's happy about being able to wrestle again. He says he was supposed to return in nine months, but took him five. He calls out Drew McIntyre. Seth Rollins comes out. They square up but don't fight because Drew McIntyre comes down from the crowd and shows CM Punk the charm bracelet again. Punk goes after McIntyre. Bronson Reed attacks Seth Rollins from behind and hits 6 Tsunamis. Rollins is shown spitting up blood.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond asks Adam Pearce for an update. Pearce states that Rollins will be sent to the hospital due to worries related to internal bleeding. Punk is storming in the background, but Pearce stops him and informs him that he has already led McIntyre out of the premises.

* New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston) def. AOP (Akam & Rezar)

- Kross intervened, allowing Rezar to take over for Woods. However, Odyssey Jones re-emerged to take out Kross. Woods rolled up Rezar for the pinfall victory. Jones attacked both AOP members after the match and simultaneously gave them a side slam.

- Backstage, Kingston was hyped about Odyssey Jones and said they met while he was in rehab at the performance center in Orlando. Xavier Woods was rather hesitant

* A-Town Down Under (Grayson Waller & Austin Theory) def. Awesome Truth (Miz & R-Truth)

- Cathy Kelley interviewed Bron Breakker, who hyped up his Intercontinental Championship victory at SummerSlam.

* Damian Priest def. JD McDonagh by DQ when Finn Balor attacked Priest.

- New Judgment Day jump Priest. Rhea Ripley makes her first appearance of the night and helps Priest take out JD McDonagh. She got her hands on Liv Morgan briefly, but Mysterio saved Morgan from going through a table

- Deville, Baszler, and Stark attacked Damage CTRL backstage. They focused on Kai's knee and warned her to keep out of their business.

* IYO Sky def. Sonya Deville

- Backstage, Ilja Dragunov told Sami Zayn he was a champion who motivated others. Zayn praised him and promised to be a great champion again in the future. Dragunov departed, and Jey Uso arrived. Uso hyped Zayn, who has a rematch with Bron Breakker next week.
