Good evening Fight Fans, and welcome to our coverage for tonight's edition of WWE Monday Night RAW!
- We open tonight's show with a recap of last week's main event where MVP meets with Adam and Sonya backstage before Drew and Braun show up and nearly come to blows. Braun then wins a coin flip and gets the shot at Bobby in a singles match in tonight's main event ahead of their triple threat match for the WWE title at Wrestlemania: Backlash.
WWE RAW Tag Team Championship Match
AJ Styles & Omos (c) vs New Day
Omos and Xavier start the match off before Omos nearly throws Xavier out of the ring and beats on him before throwing him into the corner and calling for Kofi. Kofi kicks Omos and aggravates him before catching a kick and clotheslining him and Xavier when ND try to double team Omos before AJ comes in. Xavier then rolls AJ up for two before Kofi Taya in and hits a trust fall onto AJ at ringside as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Xavier in control of AJ back in the ring before AJ gets the hot tag to Omos who hits Kofi and Xavier with backbreakers. Omos then tags in AJ who hits a Phenomenal Forearm off of his shoulders to Xavier for the pin and the win.
Winner: AJ Styles and Omos retain their RAW Tag Team titles by defeating New Day via pinfall.
- Backstage Sonya is talking to Charlotte who leaves as Adam shows up and tells Sonya that she's over stepping her boundaries as Assistant General Manager as we go to commercial.
- We get a video package promo by Eva Marie who will be making her return to RAW soon.
- We go backstage to an interview with WWE champion Bobby Lashley and MVP ahead of Bobby facing Braun in a non-title match.
- Elias and Jaxson Ryker are backstage where they accidentally throw tomatoes at Randy Orton as Riddle flies by on his scooter.
Charlotte Flair vs Dana Brooke (w/ Mandy Rose)
The two lock up before Charlotte shoves Dana when she goes for a standing switch and Dana hits Charlotte with forearms into a head scissors and a dropkick. Charlotte sends Dana into the middle rope and stomps her before booting Dana through the ropes for two as Mandy looks on in concern before Dana snaps the neck of Charlotte across the top rope. Charlotte drops Dana and counters a sunset flip before stomping her and missing a boot in the corner before hitting a hand spring back elbow in the corner. Dana then goes up top and hits a Swanton Bomb for two before Charlotte chop blocks her and locks in the Figure Eight for the tap and the win.
Winner: Charlotte Flair defeats Dana Brooke via submission.
- After the match Sonya comes out to the ring as Charlotte is at ringside and Mandy is checking on Dana as we go to commercial.
- We come back from the break to Sonya and Charlotte in the ring where Charlotte says that she should be added to the RAW Women's Championship match at Wrestlemania: Backlash and make it a triple threat match. RAW Women's champion Rhea Ripley comes out to the ring and says that she has a problem with Charlotte being added to the match and making it a triple threat match. Asuka comes out and mocks Charlotte and says that she can beat both Rhea and Charlotte if she needs to before Charlotte mocks the two and says that she'll be leaving Wrestlemania: Backlash as champion. Rhea then gets in Sonya's face before Charlotte attacks her from behind and Asuka clears the ring.
- Backstage we get an interview with Humberto Carrillo who discusses his rivalry with United States champion Sheamus before Sheamus attacks him from behind.
John Morrison (w/ The Miz) vs Damian Priest
Damian drops John and the two exchange hammer and headlocks before Damian clotheslines John over the top rope and down onto the floor as we go to commercial.
We come back to John raining down strikes in Damian's mount before Damian comes back with kicks and a jumping back elbow in the corner into a lariat for a deep two count. Miz distracts Damian when he's up top which allows John to hit a Spanish fly for a near fall before Miz inadvertently distracts the refereee when John has Damian in an inside cradle. Damian then pins John with a bell ringer and Hit the Lights for the win.
Winner: Damian Priest defeats John Morrison via pinfall.
- Backstage Mansoor signs his contract to become a RAW Superstar before Sheamus shows up and mocks Mansoor before challenging him to a non-title match.
Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin vs Lucha House Party
Shelton and Cedric isolate Metalik until he gets the hot tag to Lince who takes out Cedric, but gets ran over by Shelton who drops him with a boot when Shelton counters a head scissors. Lince then hits a tornado DDT and sends Cedric over the top rope and down onto the floor before taking out Cedric and Metalik hits a springboard elbow drop for the pin and the win.
Winner: Lucha House Party defeat Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin via pinfall.
- After the match Cedric turns on Shelton and says that he's always been the weak link of the Hurt Business and talks about how he's in the prime of his career and he's done teaming with him.
- Backstage Drew Gulak makes fun of Angel Garza before the two agree to a match later tonight and Angel leaves as we go to commercial.
Angel Garza vs Drew Gulak
Angel drops Drew immediately and hits a backbreaker before Drew locks in a rear chin lock and Angel gets free before clotheslining Drew and dropkicking him into the corner. Angel then beats on Drew in the corner and hits a running boot before finishing Drew with the Wing Clipper for the pin and the win.
Winner: Angel Garza defeats Drew Gulak via pinfall.
- Backstage Riddle runs into the Viking Raiders before checking on Randy who says that they should go to the ring and win their second match as we go to commercial.
RKBRO vs Elias & Jaxson Ryker
Riddle and Elias start the match off before Jaxson comes in and controls Riddle before he comes back and gets the hot tag to Randy who gets hit with a neck snap across the top rope. Randy hits a back suplex onto the announce table before tossing Elias back inside and hitting a neckbreaker before Elias rolls out onto the apron. Randy then hits a draping DDT before tagging in Riddle and Randy hits Jaxson with an RKO before Riddle pins Elias with the Floating Bro for the win.
Winner: RKBRO defeat Elias and Jaxson Ryker via pinfall.
- We get a backstage interview with Drew McIntyre who briefly comments on Bobby and Braun, saying that he hopes they beat the hell out of each other before Braun shows up and tells Drew that he's leaving Wrestlemania: Backlash as champion.
Sheamus vs Mansoor
Mansoor and Sheamus exchange wrist locks before Sheamus sits Mansoor on the top rope and knocks him off and down onto the floor before he gets back in at eight. Sheamus rips at the face of Mansoor and hits him with clubbing blows in the ropes before clotheslining him off of the apron and dropping him across the barricade. Mansoor gets back in at nine and elbows Sheamus before hitting a dropkick to the knee and a leg lariat into a tornado DDT for a deep two count. Sheamus then knocks Mansoor backwards off of the top and hits White Noise before Humberto shows up out of nowhere and attacks Sheamus for the disqualification.
Winner: Sheamus defeats Mansoor via disqualification when Humberto Carrillo interferes.
- After the match Sheamus lays out both Mansoor and Humberto with Brogue Kicks.
WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Match
Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax (c) (w/ Reginald) vs Naomi & Lana
Nia and Naomi kick things off for their respective teams with Nia throwing Naomi into the air before Shayna comes in and Naomi tags in Lana who hits a diving cross body for two. Lana hits a tilt-a-whirl side Russian leg sweep before hits knees to the back and Naomi gets the blind tag before she and Lana double up on Shayna. Nia then drags Naomi out of the ring before Reginald distracts the referee and Shayna submits Lana with the Kirifuda Clutch for the win.
Winner: Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax retain their WWE Women's Tag Team titles by defeating Lana and Naomi via submission.
Bobby Lashley (w/ MVP) vs Braun Strowman
The two lock up for a stalemate before they back each other into the corner and Braun nearly runs over Bobby before Bobby hits a neckbreaker for one before Braun clotheslines him. Bobby counters a powerslam before Braun clotheslines him over the top rope and down onto the floor before the champion regroups with MVP at ringside. Braun goes out after Bobby and tosses him back inside before hitting a running splash in the corner and Bobby clotheslines him. Braun then spikes Bobby down before Drew comes out to the ring and Braun meets him before Bobby attacks Braun from behind and faces off with Drew as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Drew now on commentary at ringside as Bobby hits Braun with a flat liner for two before choking him in the corner and in the ropes. Bobby sends Braun into the post before hitting a float over suplex for two before ripping and tearing at his face and mouth before hitting a running shoulder tackle in the corner. Bobby nearly knocks Braun out with a running forearm in the corner before Braun hits an electric chair drop for two before hitting a running splash in the corner. Braun drops Bobby with a boot before Bobby counters a running powerslam into the Hurt Lock which Braun counters before Bobby sends Braun into Drew. Braun then gets back into the ring before he's distracted by Drew on the apron before Bobby spears Braun for the pin and the win.
Winner: Bobby Lashley defeats Braun Strowman via pinfall.
- After the match Drew takes out both Bobby and Braun with Claymores and stands tall as we go off the air.
