WWE's recent set of live events was full of news behind the scenes and away from the ring.
The main roster shows diverted a bit from the usual Raw-only and Smackdown-only events, heading into next week's international tour which, as of now, begins with the increasingly controversial visit to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel.
Roman Reigns missed the entire weekend, for what we learned on Monday was because his leukemia had come out of remission, forcing him to vacate the Universal Title. Reigns wasn't the only WWE mainstay to miss bookings this week. Alexa Bliss, Samoa Joe and Rey Mysterio also missed all or some of this week's events. Braun Strowman worked as a face at his bookings, heralding his total turn on Raw in the wake of the Reigns news.
WWE held two cross-brand "supershow" events, one in Boston and one in Hartford. The Boston card was recorded by WWE production staff, as part of a possible move to airing house shows on the WWE Network in a new reported higher tier of programming on the streaming service. Here are all the results from the Boston event.
NXT also held a pair of events in Florida, where the biggest news was the in-ring return of Bobby Fish, who teamed with Undisputed ERA colleagues Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong against Ricochet and the Street Profits. It marked the first match for Fish since he injured his knee back in March.
Here are all the other results.
