It was a light week on the road for WWE as the main roster converged on San Antonio for Hell In A Cell.
Over on Raw, the most newsworthy results revolved around Matt Hardy, who made what appear to be his final in-ring appearances, teaming with Bray Wyatt a couple of last times and making a curtain call after his Triple Threat tag match on September 15 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Universal Title matches between Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman, with Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre running in to interfere for the DQ, headlined for yet another week.
Meanwhile, on SmackDown, Jeff Hardy wrestled in a six-man tag main event in Oklahoma City -- just 24 hours after his crash-and-burn bump through a table while dangling from the top of the Hell In A Cell cage, and after WWE's kayfabe report that Hardy was throwing up blood at a medical facility after that match. Becky Lynch also made her first defense of the SmackDown Women's Title.
NXT stayed close to home in Florida, where the marquee bouts included another six-woman tag for the MMA Horsewomen (minus Ronda Rousey), a title defense for Tommaso Ciampa against Velveteen Dream, and the first headline bout for former American Ninja Warrior Kacy Catanzaro as part of a mixed tag with Ricochet.
