Rey Mysterio On His Chemistry With Andrade: It's The Same Chemistry I Had With Eddie Guerrero

Rey Mysterio turned in some of the best matches of his career in 2019 when he was in the ring with Andrade. At the end of the year, the two feuded over the WWE United States Championship, with the feud culminating in a ladder match on the Jan. 20 WWE Raw.

Speaking to BT Sport, Mysterio discussed the chemistry he has with Andrade.

Jim Ross On Joe Tessitore: I’m Proud That He’s Representing Our Trade As Well As He Is

"There's a chemistry there that I feel I had with Eddie. Our backgrounds, our style, very similar. Being second generation. That has a lot to do with the connection we have in the ring. To be able to think 'we're on the same page' is very rare. I've been blessed throughout my career that I've had that connection with many. Kurt Angle, Edge, RVD, Eddie, Batista. But, with Andrade, there is something that clicks that is very unique. He's the next top superstar in the company. If he keeps working hard like he has been, I just don't see why not," he said.

Rey previously stated that he would do a Mask vs. Hair match against Andrade at WrestleMania. You can find his comments by clicking here.

Andrade is currently suspended after failing a wellness test.
