Rhea Ripley 'Probably' Won't Wear Her Wrist Brace When She Faces Becky Lynch At WWE WrestleMania XL

Rhea Ripley is wearing a brace on her wrist for her own good but she does not plan on wrestling in the brace at WWE WrestleMania XL

Rhea Ripley recently noted that the reason she is wearing a brace going into WrestleMania XL is due to an old nagging injury and while she intends on powering through, she does not intend on wrestling with the brace on.

WWE Files To Trademark 'RKO'

During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show Live From WrestleMania XL on Friday, April 5, 2024, Ripley explained that it's not practical for her to perform in the brace as she has tried to do so during recent live event matches.

"It's an old thing. It's been there for a couple of months and this is more so I don't hurt myself more. The doctors, they know that I'm pretty irresponsible at times and I'm not gonna stop going to the gym and doing stupid things. So they're like, 'You are confined to a brace, my young girl, and you're not allowed to take it off.'"

Asked if the brace will be appearing at WrestleMania, Ripley said, "I probably won't wrestle in it because I tried to wrestle and it at a live event and... It's not practical at all."

Unfortunately for Ripley, Becky Lynch doesn't care about her injury and says she's coming for blood at WrestleMania XL when they wrestle for the Women's World Championship.
