For the first time ever, the Rhodes brothers will take on the Lucha Bros on AEW Dynamite.
AEW announced that Cody and Dustin Rhodes will face Fenix and Pentagon Jr. (Lucha Bros) on the January 8 edition of Dynamite from Southaven, Mississippi.

This will be Dustin's third match on Dynamite and first since the December 4 when he teamed with The Young Bucks to defeat Santana, Ortiz and Sammy Guevara. It is the third time the two Rhodes brothers teamed up on AEW and second time they're together as a tag team. The first time they teamed up was at Fight for the Fallen in July when they lost to The Young Bucks. The other time they were together was on an episode of AEW Dark that saw them, along with The Young Bucks beat the team of Private Party, CIMA and T-Hawk.
The Lucha Bros, ranked No. 4 in the official AEW Tag Team Rankings, returned to their winning ways as a tag team on the most recent episode of Dynamite when they defeated Kenny Omega and Hangman Page.
