Ric Flair Keeps Asking WWE To Let Him Wrestle For 24/7 Title, Tired Of Cutting Generic Promos

Ric Flair has taken on a new role on WWE television over the last month, championing Randy Orton as The Legend Killer returns to form. Flair has been by Orton's side as he's battled Christian, Big Show, R-Truth and others.

There has been plenty of discussion regarding Flair being at the WWE Performance Center due to his age and WWE having multiple positive COVID-19. But according to Flair, things are going well and he's having fun.

"I keep wanting them to let me wrestle R-Truth for the 24/7 Title [Laughs]. I'm getting to the level where I'm comfortable. I'm like, 'Can I just get into character one time?' Talking generically is killing me. When you don't do it, you've got to practice, and you get overwhelmed in terms of the points you have to make in terms of the pay-per-view and the people, I've always struggled with that. It's so much fun for me and they're doing everything possible to make sure the kids are being tested and everyone is wearing a mask. I have fun and won't them get down around me, and I don't think they are, they all have a positive attitude," Flair said on Busted Open Radio.

Flair went on to say that he still enjoys going to the bar after shows and texts the boys to come out with him, but it's not like the old days.
