Ricochet and Santos Escobar are going to battle it out to determine who will next face GUNTHER for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
On Friday, November 25, Santos Escobar and Ricochet made it to the finals of the WWE SmackDown World Cup Tournament.
Both men, however, had to take advantage of some chaos in order to qualify. Santos Escobar was able to take advantage of the WarGames participants fighting on the Titantron in order to take advantage of a distracted Butch and punch his ticket to the finals.

Ricochet had some help from the WWE Intercontinental Champion as GUNTHER and Imperium distracted Braun Strowman long enough to help Ricochet roll up The Monster. After, Ricochet and Braun joined forces to help fend off Imperium.

Ricochet and Santos Escobar will face off on Friday, December 2 on a special episode of SmackDown being presented on FS1. The winner of that match will then go on to face GUNTHER.
