Speaking on his Off The Top podcast, which was recorded before the October 25th episode of WWE SmackDown, Rikishi commented on the latest chapter of The Bloodline story. Specifically, he referred to The Bloodline costing Jey Uso the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

"So it’s been a crazy ride and buildup, the storyline of The Bloodline going head-to-head and intertwining with other talent. Bron Breakker comes through with Jey, and here comes Jimmy, you see the promos on the outside, it’s a movie, man. It’s just what we do, man," Rikishi said.

Jey Uso cost Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa the WWE Tag Team Championship on the October 25th episode of WWE SmackDown, and he hugged Jimmy Uso after the match. Jey and Jimmy fought off The Bloodline on the October 28th episode of WWE Raw, and Jey told Sami Zayn that he was not family. He and Jimmy also saw Zayn talking to Sikoa later in the show.
