IMPACT star shows up on Raw.
WWE fans got a surprise on tonight's Raw Reunion when current IMPACT Wrestling star Rob Van Dam showed up. It was a brief appearance by RVD as he came down the ramp, flanked by Sgt. Slaughter, The Hurricane, and Kurt Angle to prevent Sami Zayn from leaving ringside.

Zayn ended up back in the ring where he lost to Rey Mysterio, who paid tribute to RVD with a Five Star Frog Splash.

PWInsider reports that RVD received permission from IMPACT Wrestling to appear on Raw. Former WWE superstar Rhino appeared under a mask at IMPACT Slammiversary despite being under contract to WWE at the time.
PWInsider goes on to report that Ron Van Dam's contract with IMPACT runs through Bound For Glory on Oct. 20.
