Since Reigns signed a new WWE deal in 2022, he has been making less frequent appearances on WWE programming and at WWE live events. He missed WWE Backlash, but he competed at WWE Night of Champions on May 27. There, he and Solo Sikoa lost to Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens when Jimmy Uso turned on his Bloodline stablemates. Reigns is set to celebrate reaching 1,000 days as the Universal Champion on the June 2 episode of WWE SmackDown. More information is available here.
