Roman Reigns And Bobby Lashley In Singles Match At WWE Extreme Rules

Kurt Angle finally gave Reigns and Lashley their match against each other.

Since coming back to WWE, Bobby Lashley has been in some tag team matches with Roman Reigns including two over the last two weeks against the Revival. Now the two wrestlers will be meeting for the first time ever in a singles match.

On Raw this week, Reigns started the show in the ring with a microphone saying Lashley thinks "he's the guy" and that he didn't want to team with Lashley but wants to fight Lashley. He and Lashley had petitioned Raw General Manager Kurt Angle for the match who denied them that opportunity.

Reigns was in two tag team matches on Raw and during the second match Lashley left him in the ring after Reigns refused to tag him. Afterwards, Angle granted Reigns and Lashley their match at Extreme Rules.

Both Lashley and Reigns were vying for a WWE Universal Championship match against Brock Lesnar and were temporarily put into a number one contender match at Extreme Rules which was canceled
