On the September 2 episode of WWE SmackDown, Adam Pearce announced that WWE had lifted the suspension of Ronda Rousey for her actions after officials at WWE SummerSlam.
Pearce then stated that he didn't agree with WWE's decision and called Rousey the biggest bitch he's ever seen. Rousey responded by locking Pearce in an armbar.
On Friday's WWE SmackDown, Michael Cole said, "I have been told that Ronda Rousey has been disciplined internally and the results will not be made public. Sources have told me this, WWE official Adam Pearce has gotten carried away, he's aired the dirty laundry publicly, hence the reason this investigation was taken behind the scenes with Ronda."

Rousey still competed on Friday's WWE SmackDown, winning a fatal five-way bout to secure a SmackDown Women's Championship match against Liv Morgan at Extreme Rules.
Fightful will work to find out if Pearce has been reprimanded, beyond getting his ass kicked by Rousey, for his public comments against her.
