Dreams do come true.
Mandy Rose was WWE NXT Women's Champion for 400 days and even though Roxanne Perez was supposed to wait until New year's evil for her opportunity at the gold, a premeditated attack by Mandy on December 13 prompted Roxanne to challenge her right then and there for the title.
Mandy and Roxanne would wind up headlining the December 13 card and by utilizing Pop Rocks, her Code Red finisher, Roxanne Perez was able to secure her first NXT Women's Championship. The celebration, while emotional, was brief as Roxanne hoisted her new title over her head with Booker T, her trainer, congratulating her on commentary.

Roxanne Perez, as Rok-C started the year as ROH Women's Champion, and now is on track to end it as NXT Women's Champion. While she was Ring of Honor Women's Champion, Maria Kanellis said she had such faith in her that she would feel comfortable putting her up against any Women's Champion in the industry.
