Sammy Guevara: I Know It's Going To Piss Some Of You Motherf*ckers Off, But I Ain't Going Nowhere

Sammy Guevara says there's a lot more greatness left in him.

Sammy Guevara has had a memorable year. He was suspended after concussion protocol was not followed in his match against Jeff Hardy, and he was absent for the next few months. Guevara returned to ROH in July before he made his return to AEW television in August. He then won the ROH World Tag Team Championship with Dustin Rhodes on the August 17th episode of AEW Collision.

On the latest episode of Sammy Guevara's vlog, which was recorded in July and August, Guevara reflected on his year up to that point.

“Man, what a crazy year. A lot has happened. I went from going for the AEW tag titles with a different partner to winning tag team gold with Dustin Rhodes, and to do it in Texas, it’s a place that I wrestled so much on the independents, and it feels like yesterday. It’s so crazy. A lot of fans that used to go to the independent shows I’d wrestle at were at these shows, and some of them showed me old photos that we took from 2015, 2016. It’s such a trip that, man, that was like ten years ago. Man, it feels like not even that long ago, but it was. Today was very special. That’s what I want to say. The best of Sammy Guevara is not a chapter closed. It’s the one I’m writing right now. So be on the lookout because there’s a lot more greatness left in me to give. I know it’s gonna piss some of y’all motherfuckers off, but I ain’t going nowhere. I ain’t going nowhere," Guevara said.

Guevara recently said that he was tired of standing in his own way, and he wanted to be the best version of himself. Check out his comments here.

Guevara continues to compete on AEW and ROH programming. He lost to Shelton Benjamin on the October 23rd episode of AEW Dynamite.
