Samoa Joe fends off Wardlow.
On the March 13 episode of AEW Dynamite, Samoa Joe and Wardlow clashed over the AEW World Championship in a singles bout. After a back and forth bout, the finish of the match saw Joe submit Wardlow with his signature Coquina Clutch.

With this win, Joe has now defended the title on three seperate occasions. The 'King Of Television' won the belt back at the Worlds End pay-per-view in December.
Wardlow won the right to challenge for the belt at AEW Revolution, as he won a All-Star Scramble bout.
